At 8:45 I was finally able to close shop. I walked briskly up Park Ave on 33rd St. to catch the 6 train downtown and as I walked down the steps into the Subway I couldn't help noticing how beautiful the Empire State Building looked that night. I sent a little prayer out...Please God let me get to the party in time! Finally I made it there only to find a line around the hotel waiting to enter the party. I heard the kid in front of me say that he had been in the same spot for 40 minutes and that was the line for people who were on the LIST! I got my invite, I RSVP! f*%#! Just as that thought entered my head it started pouring down rain!!! I thought to myself.... I am going to wait 15 themins and then I am going home. But that thought immediately changed when I saw Alexander Skarsgard cross the street in the rain and entered the party ALONE! Screw going home...I was going to get into this party!!!!!! Thankfully my best friend is clutch and she came downstairs...I got a wristband and I walked pass the line and security right into the hotel. Immediately I saw Estelle posing for pictures on the Red Carpet. She looked stunning!!!
SO I get into the elevator and get to the top floor and enter the party. I immediately get a cocktail! Which was free all night long btw....said hello to my friends and spotted Alexander across the room in an instant because he is super tall! I pounded another drink, grabbed Lara's hand and told her she was going to have to take the picture. He was very welcoming and gracious enough to take take multiple photo's due to the fact that the first three we were not ready!!!! I couldn't believe that I had my hand firmly around Eric's oh I mean Alexanders waist! I was never one for blondes but I get it Sookie!
